Combat & Waves

In Seibound, everything starts in the dungeon. This is the heart of the gameplay loop—enter the depths, survive escalating waves of enemies, gather loot, and grow stronger.

Each dungeon consists of multiple waves, with difficulty ramping up each round. Enemies grow in number, aggression, and unpredictability.

Defeating them earns you GOLD, gear loot, and score points that impact your leader board rank.

Levelling Up

Levelling isn’t just a stat bump—it’s a decision point. Each level offers a risky trade-off: how far will you go for power?

Entity Encounters

Each level is a gamble. Choose between two entities:

  • Angel: gifts you a skill boost with no strings attached.

  • Demon: trades you powerful upgrades in exchange for Max HP.

These moments define your run—every choice tilts the balance between risk and reward.

Tactical Trade-Offs

Both entities grant new skills that define your combat style.

Demon-granted skills are often stronger, but trading Max HP shortens your margin for error.

Occasionally, you’ll earn Blessings—passive buffs that require no cost—awarded as you clear more waves. Levelling is a gamble: you might emerge stronger… or drained, with nothing to show for it. The boldest often build the strongest runs.

Boss Encounters

At the end of every dungeon lies a Boss Fight, where powerful enemies await with unique visuals, distinct combat behaviours, and demanding skill checks. Defeating them earns you curved GOLD rewards and rare, high-tier loot, pushing your build and strategy to the limit.

On-Chain Skill Rollouts

All level-up decisions are executed using VRF Contract :

  • Verifiable randomness for entity and skill selection

  • An immutable record of skill choices and HP sacrifices

  • Fair, transparent gacha mechanics—on Sei
